Last week, Margaret Weis Productions put up a pre-order for Gaming in the ‘Verse: GenCon 2013 Exclusive on their website for a softcover, full-color edition. What’s more, fans worldwide can also pre-order a PDF version on DriveThruRPG.com. So, regardless of whether or not you’re going to GenCon, you can order a copy on the MWP website and have it shipped right to your door, pick it up at the show, or grab a digital preview.
The description for this upcoming release states that the Exclusive will provide two, playable adventures and preview material for the upcoming Firefly RPG. Since MWP made the announcement back in March, there’s been a lot of chatter about what the game will be like.
To answer your questions, we’ve contacted Firefly RPG brand manager and lead writer Monica Valentinelli. She’s been wrangling the line and has revealed a few insights already, like the fact that this is a brand new license with Fox based on the Firefly television series and not a license with Universal for the Serenity movie.
